Secure payments

Take card payments without the risk.

Your customers pay on the keypad during the call, or through a secure link by text or email. Card details are never spoken aloud and stay out of your call recordings.

Two ways to pay

Choose what suits each call.

Both options keep card numbers away from your team and out of your recordings.

On the call

Keypad payments

Your customer types their card details on their phone keypad while staying on the line. Your team can guide them through it without hearing the numbers.

  • Keypad tones hidden from your team
  • Recording pauses during card entry, then resumes
  • No need to end the call or transfer
By text or email

Secure payment links

Send a payment link by SMS or email. Your customer pays on a secure page in their own time, so card details never touch the call at all.

  • Great for deposits, invoices and balances
  • Works during or after a call
  • Card details never spoken or recorded

Why it matters. PCI DSS, the card industry’s security standard, doesn’t allow card security codes to be stored after a payment is authorised. That includes call recordings. Keeping card details off the call removes that risk.

Questions

Secure payments FAQs

Can my team stay on the call while the customer pays?
Yes. With keypad payments the customer stays on the line and your team can help them through it. The keypad tones are hidden, so your team doesn’t hear the card number.
What happens to the call recording?
Recording pauses while card details are entered and resumes afterwards. Our compliant call recording also redacts card and personal details from recordings and transcripts.
When should I use a payment link instead?
Payment links suit customers who’d rather pay later, or payments like invoices and balances. You can send them by SMS or email during or after a call.
Does it work with my phone system?
Our call recording works with 3CX and Microsoft Teams. We’ll design the payment set-up around your phone system and payment provider.
